History

Corgunbiert is, unlike its neighbor Haggraf, strongly religious. This makes corruption very unlikely.
The entire city is build into the wall of a mighty, underground slope. The site was originally a monestary of Iomedae, but the vast number of refugees sprouted a vast city around it. Corgunbiert has long been in charge of protecting the southern part of the Alliance’s territory in Nar-Voth, mainly the trade route to Sekamina through the natural chimney above Blackstrand.
They have been fighting an endless battle against the frost giants in the east, and duergar in the west.

Government

The city is ruled by the high priest of the monestary. The current position of ruler is the cleric Erlan Urnst.
Even though the worshipping of other religions are allowed within the city limits, the law of Iomedae is mandatory for all and serves as both constitutional and administrative law.

Population

The population of Corgunbiert consist mostly of tough and hardened people. They appriciate physical and spiritual might, but cares little for the arcane arts.
They tend to be a bit suspicious of strangers and travelers.
